One of the most important innovations of ZTE in this MWC was the possibility of controlling the terminal using voice commands. This does not seem a novelty, we already know Google Now, but ZTE goes one step beyond.
The commands are at the level of operating system, they do not require connection to the Internet and works pretty well in noisy environments (we tried it at the fair and it worked!). We can say to the phone that play music, that change application, take photos, or even unlock the phone. And even if this is your main asset specifications are not bad.
ZTE Star 2, specifications
With the Star 2 we have a terminal that is not far behind in specifications. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 SoC to 2.3 GHz, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB storage expandable via micro SD.
The display is a panel IPS of 5 inches FullHD (1920 x 1080) resolution, leaving the density of pixels in 441 ppp. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The thickness of the terminal is only 6.9 millimeters and the battery stays in 2,300 mAh.
The rear camera is 13 MPX with f/2.0 aperture, and the front of the 5 megapixel camera with a wide angle of vision for selfies (88 degrees).
The connectivity of the terminal is not short. It comes with LTE, 3 G, 2 G, Wifi 802.11 b/g /, GPS, Glonass and Bluetooth 4.0. Does not have, that Yes, NFC.
The terminal comes with 4.4 Android Kit Kat and with their Mi-please 3.0 Customization U. The highlight is, as we have said, their ability to control the terminal voice (at the moment, that Yes, in Chinese or English).
ZTE Star 2, price and availability
ZTE Star 2 for the moment is available in China, and to change costs around 330 euros. We will see if you arrive to Europe and how much would cost, although the main thing so that it reaches is that they develop the technology of voice commands in other languages.
